SingRoom KTV
Set up your first SingRoom karaoke night
Start with a playback screen, a stable internet connection, and a phone. Test the setup before your guests arrive so your first song is ready when everyone is.
1. Prepare your playback screen and sound
Open singroomktv.com in the browser on your playback device. If you are using a laptop connected to a TV, check that both the picture and audio reach the correct output. Your microphone and speaker setup works separately from SingRoom; lower the volume before testing to avoid feedback.
2. Create a room
Choose ENTER SINGROOM KTV on the homepage. Search and play a song to sing solo, or open Room and choose Host a room to invite friends. Keep Home open on the playback screen. Find the room code and QR code shown there. Share these only with people you want to join; a room code is an invitation to participate, not a public announcement.
3. Join from your phone
Open Home on your phone and use the Room tab to enter the room code or scan the room QR code. Follow the name and join prompts. A guest session lets you participate without a durable account; signing in under Me enables account features such as saved favorites.
4. Choose a karaoke video
In Search, use Karaoke and enter a song title or artist. Check the video title and thumbnail before reserving; similarly named results can be different versions. For You offers discovery choices. Use See more when available to load additional choices rather than submitting the same search repeatedly.
5. Reserve and manage songs
Reserve adds a song to the reserved list. Use the song options for additional reservation choices. In the Room tab, use available remove and arrow controls to manage reservations. Agree with your group before moving a song ahead of someone else’s turn.
6. Start playback and keep the session reliable
If the browser asks you to press Play, interact with the playback screen to allow playback. Keep the display awake and its browser tab open. If a video is unavailable or cannot be embedded, try another version. When finished, use the room’s close or leave controls rather than relying on inactivity to end it.
